Hargreaves Services PLC - Durham, England-based land, property and infrastructure development; Avingtrans PLC - Cambridgeshire, England-based company which designs, manufactures and supplies critical components, modules, systems and associated services to the energy, medical and industrial sectors - Both companies note that Chair Roger McDowell of both companies is taking a sabbatical for "family health reasons" with immediate effect. Both say he is expected to resume his duties as chair in September, while remaining a director of both during the intervening period. Avingtrans Senior Independent Director Les Thomas will assume the position of Avingtrans interim chair with immediate effect, while Hargreaves Services Senior Independent Director Nigel Halkes similarly takes over as Hargreaves Services interim chair.

Avingtrans current share price: 405.96p, down 1.0%
