IN BRIEF: Gulf Keystone Petroleum payment for August is down from July

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd - oil producer in Kurdistan region of Iraq - Partners on Shaikan oil field receive USD35.4 million payment from Kurdistan regional government, composed of USD30.0 million for crude sales in August and USD5.4 million toward arrears on December 2019 to February 2020 invoices. The payment for August sales is down from USD32.1 million for July sales. Of the August total payment, USD27.7 million is net to Gulf Keystone. Outstanding arrears now are USD41.0 million net to Gulf Keystone, and the company continues to discuss the arrears with the Kurdish government.

Current stock price: 201.67 pence, up 1.7% on Tuesday
