Guild Esports PLC - Signs three top-ranked professional players, 'Blacha', 'Chico' and 'PabloWingu' to its professional Fortnite group. Blacha, Chico and PabloWingu are regarded as "industry ones to watch" and have won over USD185,000 combined in tournament prize pools in 2023, it notes. They will be competing under the Guild banner in European and international Fortnite tournaments.
Says the new players represent a shift in focus for Guild towards targeting up-and-coming and developing talent via scouting and data analysis tools.
Chief Executive Jasmine Skee says: "Guild's Fortnite team is an important jewel in our crown, and I'm delighted to strengthen our long-term position in the iconic esport by signing young three players who have already achieved remarkable success. Blacha, Chico and PabloWingu are some of the most promising players in professional Fortnite, and it is a testament to the quality of our coaching and facilities that they have chosen Guild as the location to take their professional careers to the next level."
