GreenX Metals Ltd - developing Arctic Rift copper project in Greenland - Says preliminary analysis of three sites at Arc project in Greenland confirms 99.8% pure native copper.
Notes best results, which were found south of Discovery Zone, shows median copper purity of 99.8%, with 255 grammes per tonne silver, 0.004% antimony and 0.000% arsenic.
"The samples from Neergard Dal and Neergard South indicated copper purity of 99.7% and 99.4% respectively, with low to no deleterious elements detected in any of the samples," it adds.
Jon Bell, technical director of JV partner Greenfields Exploration Ltd, says: "We were confident that the native copper would be rich with low levels of deleterious elements, but we didn't expect the results to be so spectacular. The non-destructive nature of this methodology means that we can start collecting metallurgical as well as grade information from early in the exploration cycle."
