10th Aug 2022 15:47

GreenRoc Mining PLC - London-based miner focused mineral projects in Greenland - In the first half ended May 31, records no revenue as pretax loss widens to GBP483,000 from GBP305,000 in the period from March 17 to November 30, 2021. Says drilling programme is underway at Amitsoq Island targeting a "significant increase" in JORC Resource. Expects revised resource assessment for Thule Black Sands in the coming weeks. Current JORC estimate for TBS stands at 19 million tonnes at 8.9% in-situ ilmenite.

"GreenRoc was admitted to AIM just less than a year ago with the objective of becoming a key supplier of critical, high-demand, high-value minerals and I believe the Company has made great strides towards this goal. Amitsoq has not only been established as one of the highest-grade graphite deposits globally, but also a project with extensive resource potential, as indicated by the recently enlarged Exploration Targets," says Chief Executive Officer Stefan Bernstein.

Current stock price: 4.89 pence, up 0.9% in London on Wednesday
