Great Western Mining Corp PLC - Nevada-focused gold, silver and copper project developer - Drills first ever four holes at the Mineral Jackpot prospect, located in Nevada. Says hole 4 encounters a "significant silver intercept with associated gold at very shallow depth". Hole 1 saw reportable grades of gold at depth, while holes 2 and 3 see anomalous gold intercepts below the reporting threshold.
Drills three holes at Rock House prospect, located in Arizona, to follow up on the successful 2021 programme. Encounters gold intercepts near to surface and identifies a new copper zone.
Chair Brian Hall says: "Mineral Jackpot is a highly prospective area which has been virtually impossible to drill until now and we have been particularly encouraged by Hole 4 which has yielded high grades of silver at a manageable depth and which could quite easily be exploited, once proved up by further straightforward shallow drilling with a basic rig.
"Rock House represents original exploration work by the Great Western team, with only one of three prospects so far drilled, the Southern Alteration zone, and great potential which requires further work based on what we are learning from this year's drilling," he adds.
