IN BRIEF: Genel Energy expects average 2021 output below 2020 levels

Genel Energy PLC - Jersey-based company with exploration and production operations in northern Iraq - Reports USD187 million of cash proceeds received in the first nine months of 2021, up from USD142 million a year ago. Net production averages 32,005 barrels of oil per day in the first nine months of 2021, with net production in the third quarter alone averaging 30,520 barrels of oil daily, down from 32,475 bopd recorded in the second quarter of 2021.

Genel now expects production in the year to be slightly below the 2020 average of 31,980 bopd. Genel declares interim dividend of 6 US cents per share, up from 5 cents per share paid a year earlier.
