GCP Asset Backed Income Fund Ltd - investor in UK-based asset backed loans that is currently in a managed wind-down - Completes compulsory redemption of shares on Friday. Redeems 50.4 million shares, 19% of its total, at 89.34 pence each, worth GBP45.0 million. GCP Asset Backed Income Fund now has 215.6 million shares in issue. The company's second compulsory redemption was first announced earlier this month, when it also declared a dividend of 1.58p per share for the third quarter. The redemption price was the fund's net asset value per share on June 30 of 90.92p, less that quarterly payout.
