IN BRIEF: Gateley buys Tozer Gallagher in expected GBP815,000 deal

23rd Jul 2021 11:32

Gateley Holdings PLC - Birmingham-based legal and professional services group - Purchases quantity surveyor and construction consultant Tozer Gallagher for GBP700,000, plus an amount expected to be around GBP115,000 and capped at GBP125,000 for the group's assets. The acquisition adds "further strength and depth to the group's property platform," Gateley notes. Tozer is the tenth business that Gateley has acquired since its initial public offering back in 2015.

Tozer Gallagher will join the Gateley Vinden business, which the group acquired in March 2020.

"This acquisition sits within the diversification part of our strategy to establish complementary services that support our platform strategy," comments Rod Waldie.

The deal is being funded out of Gateley's existing resources, with acquisition expected to generate synergies and be immediately earnings enhancing, Gateley states.
