IN BRIEF: Gama Aviation annual results hurt by Covid-19 pandemic

27th May 2021 17:54

Gama Aviation PLC - Farnborough, Surrey-based aviation service provider - Says annual performance reflects the effects of the global pandemic on the aviation sector but liquidity remains strong with USD16.1 million. 2020 revenue USD197.5 million, down from USD246.8 million in 2019 and pretax loss narrows to USD8.2 million from USD11.0 million.

"Although the macro impact of the pandemic on the aviation sector has been severe, management has ensured the long-term stability of the group. By realigning its go to market and delivery structure to align to the current and future needs of its customer base, we have evolved an already robust & resilient business to address evident short term challenges, while readying ourselves for renewed growth once the current pandemic has subsided," it says.
