Frontier IP Group PLC - London-based intellectual property commercialisation company - Notes that portfolio company Pulsiv Ltd has launched new Pulsiv OSMIUM product. Product delivers "high power factor, consistently high efficiency and an ultra-compact system design." Pulsiv believes the new technology "significantly improves the energy efficiency of power supplies and battery chargers" helping to cut energy consumption globally. Pulsiv says it is in "advanced discussions" with major manufacturers and has signed a distribution agreement with Astute Electronics Ltd. It has also signed "a global distribution agreement" with Digikey Electronics, the world's fifth-largest electronic components distributor.
Chief Executive Officer of Frontier IP Neil Crabb said: "Climate change and energy are among the biggest challenges we face today. Pulsiv OSMIUM has the potential to improve the energy efficiency of devices, helping to reduce energy consumption globally. We also believe the company will become a major green technology business."
Frontier IP holds a 18% stake in Pulsiv.
