IN BRIEF: Frontier IP portfolio firm CRI wins EUR3.3 million grant

Frontier IP Group PLC - London-based intellectual property commercialisation company - Portfolio firm Cambridge Raman Imaging has been granted a EUR3.3 million grant from European Innovation Council for the CHARM project, which aims to develop a medical device based on the Raman digital imaging technology and artificial intelligence to deal with cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Frontier holds a 26% stake in CRI.

"Cambridge Raman Imaging's novel technology has the potential to revolutionise cancer diagnosis and treatment, not least by making it more widely available through histopathologists working remotely. The EIC grant provides further strong validation of the approach being taken by the company," said Chief Executive Officer Neil Crabb.
