Firering Strategic Minerals PLC - developing mineral assets portfolio in Ivory Coast - Senior Independent Non-Executive Director Neil Herbert steps down, effective immediately, due to his increased commitments, most notably after being appointed executive chair at AIM-listed Atlantic Lithium Ltd in April. Intends to appoint a new senior independent non-executive director in "due course" and a further announcement will be made "as appropriate".
Non-Executive Chair Youval Raisin says: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank Neil for his valued contribution to the progress Firering has made since its [initial public offering] in 2021. We have been fortunate to benefit from his extensive experience over the past two years, however we understand that Neil's role at Atlantic Lithium has evolved significantly over the last 12 months, and indeed, as Atlantic Lithium moves into the next phase of development, the demands on his time will grow ever more."
