Atalaya Mining Copper SA - Spain-based mining company - Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd indicates intention to sell up to 8.2 million shares in Atalaya to institutional investors. The shares represent around 5.8% of Atalaya's share capital. At Tuesday's closing share price, sale is worth around GBP46 million. The placing will be conducted by means of an accelerated bookbuild secondary placing to institutional investors which will begin with immediate effect. Canaccord Genuity is acting as sole bookrunner in relation to the placing.
