IN BRIEF: Emmerson Promotes New CEO To Board Director

Emmerson PLC - Khemisset potash project in northern Morocco - Promotes Chief Executive Officer Graham Clarke to board director, effective from this past Tuesday. Clarke joined as CEO at the start of July. He had been a senior executive at former FTSE 250 constituent Sirius Minerals PLC since 2011, overseeing technical aspects of the development of the Woodsmith potash mine project. Sirius Minerals was purchased by miner Anglo American PLC after running into funding trouble. Prior to that, Clarke was at Cleveland Potash, which owned the Boulby potash mine in Yorkshire.

Year-to-date change: up 12%
