ECR Minerals PLC - gold explorer with assets in Australia - At the HR3 Goldfields area in the Bailieston project in Victoria, Australia, phase two drilling has recommenced, with initial results showing solid results.
From the first completed drill hole, drilling has returned 0.7 metres at 28.06 grams per tonne of gold from a depth of 52.7 metres from the Maori Reef.
To date, a total of 1,478 metres of drilling has been completed at HR3.
"We are pleased with the excellent results from hole BH3DD009 at HR3. As this intensive drilling campaign continues, so our understanding of the Maori Anticline continues to grow," said Chair David Tang.
"It is our intention to appoint a new CEO in due course, and in this regard our search has already begun. In the interim a committee of directors, including myself, Trevor Davenport and Adam Jones will continue to drive the business forward," Tang added.
