Eco Animal Health Group PLC - pet and livestock pharmaceuticals company headquartered in Surrey - Gets marketing authorisation from European Medicines Agency for Aivlosin in pigs. The approval is for Aivlosin 625 milligrams of water per gram water soluble granules when used to treat and control the spread of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, the most common primary pathogen in pig respiratory disease. Aivlosin is Eco Anima's patented antimicrobial product and is used with prescription from a vet to treat "economically important" respiratory and enteric, or gut, diseases in poultry and pigs.
