IN BRIEF: Dunedin Enterprise sells UPOL investment for GBP21.8 million

Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust PLC - Edinburgh-based management buyout and buy-in equity financier - Announces Wednesday that its Dunedin Buyout Fund II LP has entered into a legally binding agreement to realise an investment in UPOL, a manufacturer of automotive refinishing products.

The transaction is expected to complete in the second half of 2021, subject to regulatory approval.

The investment in UPOL was valued at GBP10.5 million on March 31. Proceeds from the sale, including redemptions of loan stock, are expected to amount to GBP21.8 million.

Current stock price: 327.24 pence

Year-to-date change: up 11%
