Drax Group PLC - Yorkshire, England-based electricity generator - Hires Andrea Bertone to be next non-executive chair, joining the board on Thursday and taking over the chair on January 1. Bertone replaces Philip Cox, who steps down on December 31 after nine years in post. Bertone spent 15 years at Charlotte, North Carolina-based electricity and gas supplier Duke Energy Corp, including seven as president of its international division, leaving Duke in 2016. Bertone lives in Houston, Texas. A lawyer by training, she is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association.
