IN BRIEF: Dekel Agri-Vision Annual Production Slips But Prices Rise

Dekel Agri-Vision PLC - West Africa-focused agriculture company - For 2020, crude palm oil production dropped by 9.7% year-on-year to 34,002 tonnes, due to a region wide drop in fresh fruit bunches harvested during the peak harvest season.

Crude palm oil sales fell by 9.8% to 34,008 tonnes from 37,713 tonnes, however, the average price per tonne of crude palm oil rose by 23% to EUR602 from EUR491.

Palm kernel oil output also fell by 9.3% year-on-year to 2,516 tonnes, while sales dropped by 16% to 2,207 tonnes from 2,621 tonnes the prior year. However, the average palm kernel oil price per tonnes increased by 8.4% to EUR597 from EUR551.
