IN BRIEF: Datalex and Virgin Australia end retail partnership

Datalex PLC - Dublin-based software company in digital commerce for travel retail - Updates on Virgin Australia Group's next generation retail project. Says during the course of the programme, Virgin Australia's priorities with respect to the project have changed leading to the decision to end its programme with Datalex and other impacted vendors. The decision was made following a thorough internal review of the programme. Datalex says the decision was mutual. David Hogarth, chief information officer says: "We remain open to potential future collaborations and value the positive interactions we've had during our partnership."

In December 2021, Datalex said it would partner with Virgin Australia, the Australian-based airline, on key technology components of the airline's transformation strategy.
