IN BRIEF: CT Global Managed portfolio manager to retire in October

CT Global Managed Portfolio Trust PLC - investment trust - Says Portfolio Manager Peter Hewitt intends to retire at the end of October, having been responsible for the management of the trust's Income and Growth portfolios since their inception in 2008. At the start of CT Global's next financial year on June 1, the portfolios will be managed by London-based managers Adam Norris and Paul Green, supported by Peter Hewitt until he steps down. Norris and Green currently manage income and growth multi-asset, multi-manager portfolios with a total of around GBP1 billion in assets.

"While the new portfolio managers have some different perspectives on how the portfolios should be positioned, the company will continue to invest in a broad spread of investment companies, covering a variety of geographies, sectors and investment managers," says CT Global.

Current stock price Income shares: 109.62p, down 0.8% in London on Thursday afternoon

12-month change: down 0.4%

Current stock price Growth shares: 252.06p, down 1.5%

12-month change: up 3.7%
