Cornish Metals Inc - Vancouver, Canada-based mineral exploration and development firm focused on the UK and North America - Starts 9,000 metre mineral exploration drilling at the Wide formation target in the Carn Brea South exploration area at its South Crofty tin project in Cornwall, England. Says the formation "represents a high-grade tin target," citing 0.99% tin at discovery hole CB21-002 within a 12.14 metre wide zone of "strong" alteration and disseminated tin mineralisation. Highlights that tin is a critical mineral as defined by the UK, US and Canadian governments, with about 75% of tin mined today coming from China, Myanmar and Indonesia. Says that responsible sourcing of critical minerals and security of supply "are key factors in the energy transition and technology growth."

Current stock price: 13.00 pence, up 4.0% on Thursday
