Cornish Metals Inc - Vancouver-based mineral exploration company - Says the remaining assay results from the phase one drill programme at the United Downs project in Cornwall, England found that the MW22_001 hole intersects several high-grade zinc zones. Further, the MW22_002 hole intersects several polymetallic zones. Says the high copper and tin intersects beneath the project have now been observed over a strike length of roughly 1,350 meters.
"The phase one drill programme at United Downs has been successful on a number of fronts - assay results, safety, community support and drill contractor performance," Chief Executive Richard Williams says.
"Results from the United Downs drill programme confirm the potential to develop a mineral resource, especially the down dip section of the United Mine where we encountered high-grade copper, tin and silver."
