IN BRIEF: Cora Gold updates resource estimates at Sanankoro project

16th Nov 2021 14:36

Cora Gold Limited - West African focused gold company - Reports an updated mineral resource estimate prepared by CSA Global (UK) Ltd for the Sanankoro gold project in Southern Mali. The updated report follows the recently completed 43,000 metres drilling campaign at Sanankoro which focussed on mineral resource growth and upgrading existing mineral resources to higher confidence categories. Cora said estimates tripled in total ounces from maiden estimates in December 2019. In addition, the company says there are multiple higher grade ore shoots within the deposits which offer the potential for higher grade production in early years of mining.

"I am delighted with the updated mineral resource estimate at Sanankoro which has exceeded our expectations from the start of the drill programme and is a major step in our development plan, which is focussed on delivering a definitive feasibility study during the first half of 2022," says Chief Executive Bert Monro.
