IN BRIEF: Cora Gold reveals strong drilling results from Sanankoro

22nd Oct 2021 19:41

Cora Gold Ltd - West African focused gold company - Completes 14th and final set of drill results from its 40,000 metre campaign at Sanankoro gold project in Mali, with results considered to be extremely encouraging with high-grade results in shallow oxide ore.

Cora Gold expects to update its mineral resource estimates in the coming weeks.

"This drill campaign has delivered consistently positive results and this last set of samples means that we finish on a high note, reporting some of our best drill hole results to date. 17 metres at 17.13 grams per tonne gold and 19m at 6.14 g/t gold are not only two further excellent drill holes in isolation, but in the context of our full campaign we have had 15 holes of 100 gramme metre which is a fantastic achievement for the exploration team on the ground. Additionally, the additional depth of oxidisation, to greater than 190m, has potentially positive implications as we look towards mining in the future," says Chief Executive Officer Bert Monro.
