CIP Merchant Capital Ltd - AIM-listed closed-ended investment company incorporated in Guernsey - Says it continues to believe in the growth potential of its investee companies and highlights its investment manager's ability to identify attractive investment opportunities with the aim of generating future long-term value. This comes after it confirmed on Monday Corporation Financiere Europeenne SA dropped its takeover bid, having previously announced a possible 50 pence per share all-cash offer. CIP turned down the offer, calling it "opportunistic".
