Chelverton Growth Trust PLC - investment trust - Net asset value per share at end of August 40.61 pence, down 9.3% from 44.79p at the same date a year ago. Over the same period, the company's benchmark index, the MSCI Small Cap UK Index, fell by 8.6%. "The asset value of our investments unsurprising fell reflecting the uncertainty and disruption that the pandemic brings to the world," Chelverton says. Adds that most of the companies in its portfolio have shown "great resilience" over the past twelve months.
