Caspian Sunrise PLC - Kazakhstan focused oil and gas company - Says average production volumes at MJF structure in September was 1,340 barrels of oil per day due to planned maintenance work at the loading station. For majority of the month, average production was 1,620 barrels per day. Workover at Well 141 completed and well is expected to resume commercial production in the "next few days". Well 144 is the next to be worked over.
On Deep Wells, says tubing is being removed from Deep Well A5 to allow the perforated interval to be further cleared by the use of the drillbit. Planned acid treatments completed at both Deep Wells A6 and A8.
Expects to complete Caspian Explorer acquisition soon.
"No contracts are in place for the future use of the drilling vessel. The company is however aware of potential interest in developing fields in the northern Caspian Sea previously drilled using the Caspian Explorer," company says.
