Caerus Mineral Resources PLC - Cyprus-based exploration & resource development company focussed on Europe - Says hand auger sampling of mine waste dumps at its Mala project in Cyprus returned anomalous gold grades. Continues that 80% of the total number of gold assays received returned anomalous results above 0.29 grammes per tonne of gold.
"The consistent presence of anomalous gold values in the Mala waste dumps is an exciting discovery that warrants further follow-up," Chief Executive Martyn Churchouse says.
"Representative samples will be sent for metallurgical test work to confirm the underlying grade and potential recovery of gold from this waste material."
