Botswana Diamonds PLC - Botswana and South Africa-focused diamond explorer - Undertakes fundraising to raise GBP380,000 via the issue of 76.0 million new shares at a placing price of 0.50 pence per share. Expects that the admission of these shares to trading on AIM will become effective on or around December 11. Says net proceeds will contribute to ongoing exploration activities in Botswana and South Africa, and will more specifically help Botswana Diamonds to continue with activities at these assets. Funds will also help to provide additional working capital for the company.
Current stock price: 0.54 pence, up 2.8% on Monday
