Botswana Diamonds PLC - Botswana and South Africa-focused diamond explorer - Says diamond recoveries at its Marsfontein project in South Africa are above expectations. Say 1,481 carats have been recovered to date. Says the largest recovery is a 24.6 carat stone.
Chair John Teeling says: "Mining on Marsfontein is a proof of concept, which is working well. Despite a slow start with equipment and weather issues the project is delivering better than expected grades and diamond values."
Current stock price: 0.89 pence, down 4.1% on Thursday
