IN BRIEF: Beowulf says Afry Finland wins study contract at Aitolampi

12th Mar 2021 11:57

Beowulf Mining PLC - exploration and development company with projects in Finland, Sweden and Kosovo - Afry Finland Oy wins contract to conduct a scoping study at the Aitolampi graphite project in Finland. Notes Aitolampi is being developed by Beowulf's subsidiary Oy Fennoscandian Resources AB. Says the scoping study will provide a roadmap for the next project development stage, which it says is likely to be a pre-feasibility study.

"We will benefit from the Afry Finland team's deep competence in environmental matters, permitting and sustainability. Since Fennoscandian was acquired in January 2016, Beowulf has invested over EUR1.56 million in graphite exploration, resource development, metallurgical testwork and the assessment of market applications for graphite from Aitolampi, including lithium-ion battery applications," says Chief Executive Kurt Budge.
