Base Resources Ltd - mineral sands developer with assets in Kenya and Madagascar - Says its Kwale operations have been impacted by recent rainstorms in Kwale County in Kenya. The rainstorms resulted in flash flooding which overwhelmed the dewatering systems of three of its hydraulic mining units, the company explains. Recovery work is now underway. One of the three mining units is back in operation, delivering 45% of normal mining volumes. Base Resources says it does not expect to revise its production guidance for 2022.
