IN BRIEF: Bank of Georgia Group enters USD200 million loan agreement

Bank of Georgia Group PLC - Tbilisi, Georgia-based lender - Says its subsidiary SC Bank of Georgia signed a loan agreement USD200 million loan agreement with Asian Development Bank and Japan International Cooperation Agency. Adds the loan facility has a five-year maturity. Explains the facility aims to support micro-, small- and medium-sized businesses in Georgia. Concludes that this will be done by providing continued access to long-term finance.

"I am delighted to join forces with Asian Development Bank and Japan International Cooperation Agency on this successful partnership, which will enable us to continue extending much-needed long-term financing to micro, small and medium enterprises in Georgia," Chief Financial Officer Sulkhan Gvalia said.
