IN BRIEF: Avingtrans wins several new contracts across business

17th Mar 2022 14:46

Avingtrans PLC - provides components and systems for the energy, medical and industrial sectors - Announces new contracts wins for its businesses. Booth Industries, a specialist door manufacturer, wins contract worth GBP6 million for specialist doors with an unspecified UK government agency. Comes 12 months after a similar contract.

Energy Steel and Hayward Tyler businesses win "multi-million dollar" contracts to support ITER Fusion project in France. Energy Steel will supply 62 solenoid valve and cubicle packages, and Hayward Tyler will provide variable drive booster pumps.

ITER has existing contracts with Avingtrans' Engineered Pumps and Motors divisions.

"We're delighted that the Booth success story continues to gather momentum, with the business making a strong contribution to the division's growing profile in the nuclear industry. The team has created a strong order pipeline and, with a new manufacturing facility that takes its overall manufacturing capacity to 6,400 square metres, it also has the capacity it needs to support continuing growth," says Austen Adams, managing director of Process Solutions & Rotation Equipment.
