Aura Energy Ltd - Australia-based minerals company with polymetallic and uranium projects in Europe and Africa - Will commence regional exploration and resource enhancement programme at Tiris uranium project in Mauritania in the first half of 2022. Will focus on resource upgrade, and completion of proposed resource estimate for vanadium.
The resource upgrade programme aims to expand measured or indicated resource base in Tiris East area. Aura is liaising with drilling contractors and hopes to complete the programme by mid-2022.
Acting Chief Executive Officer Dr Will Goodall said: "We are excited to announce the proposed Resource Enhancement Programme, seeking to expand the Tiris uranium resources whilst concurrently progressing towards uranium production. We will focus on expanding the existing measured and indicated resources and locate additional exploration targets that have been underexplored."
Current stock price: 15.33 pence, up 0.5% on Wednesday
