IN BRIEF: Atlantic Lithium detects high-grade pegmatite from drilling

19th Jul 2022 14:23

Atlantic Lithium Ltd - lithium asset developer and producer focused in West Africa - Reports high-grade pegmatite from drilling at the Ewoyaa Lithium project in Ghana, West Africa. It says about 8,560 metres of assay results have been reported to date from the ongoing 37,000 metre planned drilling campaign. Overall, Atlantic Lithium says about 24,999 metres of the planned 37,000 metre resource evaluation, exploration reverse circulation and diamond core drilling programme have been completed and planned for completion during the third quarter this year.

Interim Chief Executive Officer Lennard Kolff says: "We are pleased to report ongoing and significant high-grade pegmatite intervals over broad widths below the Ewoyaa Main deposit and outside of the currently defined resource volume, giving us confidence to deliver future resource upgrades for the project.

"Our ongoing exploration programme demonstrates considerable scope for resource growth and the potential for an extended mine life beyond the metrics of the Scoping Study. This, in conjunction with further economic benefits from increased spodumene concentrate pricing, continue to demonstrate Ewoyaa as an industry-leading asset."
