Asos PLC - London-based online fast fashion retailer - Shares will start trading on the London Main Market from Tuesday next week, with Monday the last day of trading on AIM. Asos had announced the move last month, saying it had outgrown the junior market after 20 years as one of its biggest listings. Asos has a market capitalisation of just above GBP2 billion, though that is down by almost two-thirds over the past year.
"ASOS has set out a clear plan to deliver an ambitious growth strategy over the next three to four years and to deliver on the sizeable opportunities ahead for our business," says Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer Mat Dunn. "Against this backdrop, the time is now right to move to the Main Market."
Current stock price: 1,979.00 pence, down 1.2% on Friday
