Artemis Resources Ltd - mineral exploration company focused on projects in Western Australia - Says it has identified surface gold and mineralised veins at its Sing Six and Sing Well prospects in West Pilbara, Australia. It collected 201 samples through field mapping and chip sampling, finding angular free gold samples at the surface across multiple locations and visible gold with outcropping quartz and iron oxide veins. Samples have been sent away to a laboratory for assaying.
Executive Director George Ventouras says: "We are encouraged by the level of surface and vein hosted gold that has been discovered, especially in a known mineralised area such as Sing Six. This bodes well for further potential exploration success, and these clues are leading us to the source of the gold, which is very exciting."
Current stock price: 0.72 pence, closed 2.1% higher in London on Thursday
