IN BRIEF: Artemis Resources finds further high-grade gold and silver

11th Oct 2024 06:58

Artemis Resources Ltd - mineral exploration company focused on projects in Western Australia - Says rock chip sampling at its Titan prospect in the West Philbara region of Western Australia has delivered high-grade gold and silver from assays. These samples include up to 553,754 grammes per tonne of gold and up to 1,305 grammes per tonne of silver. This is further to the rock chip sample found in August at Titan, which contained more than 10,000 grammes of gold per tonne and from which Artemis Resources produced a 10.4 ounce gold bar.

Executive Director George Ventouras said: "These results, together with the previously reported gold, silver and copper results, point to the Carlow tenement being a highly prospective region with the potential for a larger scale gold system. These high-grade gold assays continue the trend found in our original rock chip discoveries at Titan by emerging from quartz-iron veining and are therefore not analogous to conglomerate mineralisation. This veining structure will vary throughout Titan but the structure continues to demonstrate its potential."
