Arc Minerals Ltd - copper exploration company focused on mines in Africa - Announces the extension of both of its prospecting licences at its Virgo Project in the central structural corridor of the Kalahari Copper Belt in the Republic of Botswana. Arc Minerals applied for the extension in May this year. Prospecting licences 135/2017 and 162/2017 have been extended for a further two years until September 30, 2026, and cover an area of more than 210 square kilometres. Chair Nick von Schirnding said the extension was "an excellent outcome for the company" that "reinforces the reputation of Botswana as a mining friendly jurisdiction".
