IN BRIEF: Anglesey Mining reports sudden death of deputy chair

Anglesey Mining PLC - London-based mining company with operations in north Wales, Sweden & Canada - Says its Deputy Chair Bill Hooley passed away on Tuesday. Hooley had been with the company since 2007.

Chair John Kearney says: "We are deeply saddened to hear of the untimely passing of our colleague and friend Bill Hooley. Bill was instrumental to the advancement of Anglesey and its Parys Mountain mine project during his time as chief executive between 2006 and 2021, and subsequently continued to provide valued advice and experience to the company as deputy chair."

Current stock price: up 0.6% at 3.27 on Wednesday in London
