IN BRIEF: AltynGold sees revenue, output rise in third quarter

AltynGold PLC - gold miner with assets in Kazakhstan - Reports revenue of USD12.8 million in the third quarter ended September 30, up sharply from USD6.3 million the year prior. Ore mined rises 11% year-on-year to 149,998 tonnes, from 134,715 tonnes. Gold poured jumps to 7,440 ounces, from 3,492 ounces a year ago. Average gold grade improves to 2.1 grams per tonne, compared to 1.6 grams in the same period in 2020. Says it continues to develop the Teren-Sai deposit in Kazakhstan. Expects to start production at Area No 2 at Teren-Sai in 2024. Notes no interruptions or negative impact to its operations, despite Covid-19 precautionary procedures taken by the local authorities.
