Altus Strategies PLC - Africa-focused mining royalty company - Reports further encouraging intersections from its Diba gold project deposit in western Mali as it completes its 10,308 metres reverse circulation drilling programme. Says the results include 43.83 grams per tonne of gold over five metres from the surface from a drill hole designed to test a modelled northeast trending high-grade zone. Notes it is encouraged by intercepts outside the current mineral resource estimation envelope, including 11.03 grams per tonne of gold over three metres from 37 metres, which may potentially extend the mineralised zone by approximately 100 metres to the west.
"Results are currently pending from 33 holes that have been drilled at a number of prospects outside of the current mineral resource estimation envelope. Our technical team is reviewing the data received to date and planning a ground magnetic survey, which will commence shortly and be used to guide the next phase of drilling," says Chief Executive Steven Poulton.
