Altona Rare Earths PLC - developing Monte Muambe magnet rare earths project in northwest Mozambique - Promotes Non-Executive Director Simon Charles to chair effective from its general meeting on Tuesday. Charles joined the Altona board in June last year. He was senior partner at City solicitors Marriott Harrison LLP. Earlier this month, Martin Wood stepped down as chair after four years on the board.
