Africa Opportunity Fund Ltd - Cayman Islands-based closed-end investment company - Sees gains on investment surge to USD11.2 million in 2021 from USD482,924 the previous year. Income swings to a profit of USD10.7 million from a loss of USD401,744 the year prior. Per share, earnings swing to a profit of USD0.43 from a loss of USD0.01. At December 31, net asset value per share stands at USD1.05, up from USD0.65 at the same time the previous year.
Company says its 2022 performance will be impacted by rising inflation and the outcome of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
