IN BRIEF: Adriatic Metals Gets Positive Record Of Decision For Rupice

8th Feb 2021 13:43

Adriatic Metals PLC - developing Vares silver project in Bosnia & Herzegovina - Gets positive record of decision for Rupice environmental permit. Says the record of decision was received following an environmental impact assessment submission by Adriatic in August 2020. Notes the environmental permit is required to be issued within 30 days from the date of the record of decision, at which point Adriatic will submit an application for an urban planning permit. After receipt of this, it can apply for an exploitation permit.

"The receipt of the record of decision is another major step forward in the permitting of the Vares project, and when coupled with the recent issuance of the Veovaca exploitation permit, clearly demonstrates the teams ability to permit a mine in Bosnia & Herzegovina. We look forward to building this highly profitable mine in the third quarter of 2021, whilst continuing to grow our resources around Vares, and advance our exciting project at Raska," says Chief Executive & Managing Director Paul Cronin.
