LONDON (Alliance News) - Investment company Imperial Innovations Group PLC on Tuesday said portfolio company Inivata Ltd has raised GBP31.5 million from a Series A funding round.
Imperial has invested GBP10.0 million in the round, with other investors including US healthcare giant Johnson & Johnson Inc and Woodford Patient Capital Trust PLC, the FTSE 250-listed fund run by prominent fund manager Neil Woodford.
Inivata is a cancer genomics company which is working on using DNA analysis to improve cancer treatment.
Imperial shares were down 5.9% to 350.00 pence.
