LONDON (Alliance News) - Imperial Innovations Group PLC Thursday said it has invested a further GBP1.5 million in visual search company Cortexica Visual Systems Ltd.
The technology commercialisation and investment group first invested in Cortexica in 2009. It said it will now hold, on conversion of loan stock, a 73.4% equity stake.
Cortexica has developed, and is selling, image recognition, visual search and categorisation software for online businesses. It has signed up ten new customers in the past six months.
Imperial Innovations shares were up 1.2% at 470.73 pence Thursday early afternoon.
